It's February again

the last time I ever referenced a musician with the initials RS. (a round-up)

The news is so bad right now. So I’m not going to focus on that. Let’s talk about trans and/or literary stuff instead!

• I’m still reading submissions for the trans joy folio. Full information on the call here

• Trans Lifeline’s name change microgrant application is open. This org does life changing stuff, and they always reserve a large % for BIPOC

• I got the chance to interview Dali Valentino, a wonderful trans latine artist, for one of my favorite lit mags, just femme & dandy. They are doing the WORK for QTPOC, and volume 4: survive is fantastic

• A friend’s GORGEOUS chapbook is also available for pre-order. You need sterling-elizabeth arcadia’s Heaven, Ekphrasis in your life

• I’m super into Kimberly Wolf’s poems about bipolar disorder in Corporeal

• THE Julián Bañuelos has two poems in Pidgeonholes!

• Also obsessed with CD Eskilson’s poems in Pidgeonholes from last month !!

• Basically what I’m saying is, they publish a lot of cool poets

• And so does beestung. Check out this poem by courtney marie

• And of course I should mention Porter House Review on pub day. Three new pieces are live today. I’m especially fond of Jaymie Campbell’s nonfiction piece, “Skin.” I won’t summarize it here— it’s quite the rewarding reading experience
