It has been a couple months since my last regular post. We don’t play by capitalism’s rules of productivity here, so I’m not going to give in to my desire to publicly justify this much-needed silence/break/whatever. I’m mostly here tonight to share a poem I’ve been working on for a week, and two very important things.
Demand the release of Palestinian student activist Mahmoud Khalil by clicking here.
My fellow texans especially, sign and share this pro-trans statement from Transgender Education Network of Texas by clicking here.
Here is the poem, which I think speaks for itself. Content warning for suicide and general anti trans sentiment.
Thank you for being here. Towards liberation siempre!

My nonfiction chapbook GOOD GRIEF is out with fifth wheel press now! Trans poetica will always be free, but tips are greatly appreciated. I have free zines here, and I’m available for editing, readings, and more through my site.
Beautiful poem, as someone who’s also trans, I can relate to well to line of racing toward adulthood. Once puberty hit I was miserable and trying to speed run life to get it over with. Now after transitioning existing is a delight rather than a burden.
So happy to find you on this internet space. Sending you love SG!! beautiful beautiful poem ❤️
